June 21 Goodbye, my OwenMy tears slid down when I saw you fell on the ground……
You didn't say a word and only put your hands on your face when the stretcher came to carry you out of the ground.
I don't know whether you cried.....
Have you known that it was doomed to be your end of this World Cup?
It's not important. All I know is you have gone back to England.
So I lost you again.
In fact I don't mind whether you win or not, whether you goal or not. I just want you to be scatheless and happy.
But you get injured.
Please God, please give your bliss on him. He can't bear anymore.
When you fell down, you know your trip in the World Cup was over. You don't want to leave your team and your league member who are still fighting. Although you know they can walk straight to the final game without you and they can get their final success, I can't walk to the final without you……
Goodbye, my Owen. I'll be right here waiting for you. It is you who are my angel and my miracle.
With best wishes
June 13 Just give us party mood!I have just seen Michael Owen 's MSN blog called Road to World Cup 2006. Just imagine a 11-year old boy watching telly and dreaming that he would be one of the England national soccer team in the World Cup. How lovely!
The World Cup is a nation wide party as well as a festival, at least in Europe. Owen pointed out that it was a spectacular scene during the World Cup. The whole country is buzzing and exciting. Flags, scream, beer, colour... all over the country. How amazing!
The country in the World Cup period is not a normal world but a huge party. Everyone is in the party mood until the team is knocked out. Then everyone will be back into work and depression. You work, you sleep, you eat, you spend your daily life, just waiting for the next party.
So we need the World Cup and I need you, my Owen.
16 years ago the World Cup gave you party mood, and now it is your turn to give it to us!
"Imagine if we won it this year. People would be in party mood forever! "
In fact I'm always in party mood as long as you are there.
May God bless England and may God bless you, and you'll never walk alone on your way to the World Cup. |
